E-mail Print PDF
The Health Impact Project, the National Network of Public Health Institutes and other leading health organizations will convene the first-ever National Health Impact Assessment (HIA) Meeting on April 3-4, 2012 in Washington, DC.  The tentative agenda includes discussions on HIA and the built environment and the National Research Council report on HIA.

An HIA is a process that determines the potential health effects of a project or policy on a given population.  This evidence-based tool is increasingly being used in decisions around policy and practice.

Abstract submissions and session topics are due to meeting organizers by January 18.  To learn more, please click here.
